We study agricultural pest mites, with a particular focus on their interactions with host plants. Our research spans multiple disciplines and aims to better understand the biology and ecology of mites that impact crop production.
Based at the Agricultural Research Organization (ARO) of the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture, our lab bridges basic and applied research. We collaborate closely with local growers to address real-world challenges, integrating fieldwork with cutting-edge science.
In addition to applied experiments we use a range of molecular and imaging tools; including DNA and RNA isolation and sequencing, confocal microscopy with immunostaining and FISH techniques.
